OBEDIENCE
Note: These are individual classes. You spend one on one time with a trainer to get more detailed training.
Required: 8 sessions minimum.
Description: Obedience includes No pull walking, Sit, Stay, Come, and Down.
In this course, you and your dog will learn:
•NO PULL WALK (within 3-4 ft of you) without pulling even when someone or something passes by.
•SIT, with many distractions, such as dogs passing, food being waved infront of them, toys being thrown and much more. It is also taught, so that you can leave your dog and have them "stay" in this position until you release them.
•STAY, we DO NOT use the word stay. Your dog is taught to stay in the position you left them in (sit, or down) until he/she is released. The release we use is "OK".
•The COME command is done in many areas. 1. From a position (sit or a down). 2. From a distraction, ( playing with other dogs, or smelling, or anywhere not near you) 3. From at ease ( standing away from you or in another room). This can be perfected by doing long distances (up to 800ft) and through heavy distractions. If you are interested in having this done, it will be extra sessions, which will depend on your dogs' learning capabilities
•The DOWN, is done with the same rules and catergories as the Sit.
Rate for standard obedience is: $40 per session
